Hungarian music innovator Robert R. Hardy who is also known as D.M.P releases – ”Chicago Sunrise” Original Mix from under 238* West label, happens to be all kindsa gravelly Vocal splendor. He delivers a dance floor friendly track that sounds contemporary fresh, while managing to infuse it with classic elements of Deep House from the past, and moreover pulls it off with finesse. The chugging bass line compliments some of the whimsical atmospherics. There’s an unmistakable amount of shuffling percussives involved, and a clanging riff runs through fearlessly.
The pack contains two remixes tackled by two very diverse artists, the first of which comes from David R Maddocks Remix, is all about playful chords stoking an other worldly feel of the original, in your mind. The bass shine is low slung and the cleaner vocal appearance erupts in superb fashion, a coming together of the elements in a different, yet familiar manner.
On the flip side the second rework comes from Sarajevo based Forniva, he strips it down with an eerie and dark reinterpretation, with interplay between crisp hi-hats, an echoing quality over the vocals, a grimy and whirling center and hard stepping staccato bass. Effectively there you have it, the track gets a thicker edge. This remix is rippling the ears good.
