The latest Lonely Owl Records release titled – ”I Do Not Feel” by Techno beast – Inaki Cerqueira, is not the usual dance music one hears everyday. The pack contains five tracks that covers the spectrum of Deep House, Deep Tech and Minimal effortlessly, the aforementioned styles have been presented in one big luscious flourish.
Jumping straight in to ”Two Days”, that features The Beauty Spots, Inaki makes it a different kind of tune. What one can call a sizzling cut. Releasing smoky fumes of grime, and high end melodic musicality, the track has a lovely Vocalism which rides the top and keeps you suspended in raw wanting. The bass line opens it’s arms wide and envelops you in the warmth of the core menace, a double edged beauty of Inaki’s talent on full display. Heading to ”One Week”, the second offering has a yummy rhythm that courses through and two beats that you can wiggle with. The basic chassis has ravey stabs, urban male vocals show face here and there, oscillating grooves cascade around restlessly around a perky center.
Next up – ”All Live” prefers to be deeply groovy. A percussive tune that’s playable, sticky and clappy all at once.
The title track ”Two Days” rears its head twice with Frink taking on remix duties. The first of the two remixes is treated with an engine like interior, the vocals get a kind of underwater squall to it. The spooky feel sauces things up to a nicety, and the original gets his stamp, with a real woody chunky feel all around it. The second Frink Deep inside Remix tries not to over match the previous work and so goes the other way, with a more expansive face around lilting male vocals that stay’s for just about the right amount of time. The comfy synth pads cushion and smooth out all rough edges and brings forth a beautiful Black space, helped largely by the no nonsense clean bass fueling the tune forward.

Great stuff!!
