The ”J”factor returns to mighty Bedrock with 3 amazing tracks, that treasure chest of tunes you want to keep locked up cause each is ethereal and special, to keep close to your hearts. The first of which- ”Candyland” is the perfect example of high quality musicality. This restrained other-worldly beauty starts off inducing those goose bumps from the word go, seldom felt in dance music nowadays. The intelligence of the melody line splices, invigorates, filtering out aural love. A joyous abandonment of immersive booty shaking for the mind, snaking around a deep Bassy cavern only to uplift again and again outward. The percussives are shiny and waters down the entire composition with breath-taking serenity to make one mush. The astounding effect this particular track induces on club floors is a standing testament of how Guy’s talent is just stand-out.
”Lonely Color”, on the other hand is an atmospheric beast with it’s swirling synths and futuristic instrumentals harking back to bygone memories of smoky club outings, yet signals a bright future for melodic electronic dance music. Accompaniments of tinkling sweet Carillon, smooth as silk snares flaring up and the melodic pad on over drive singes the mind. Toppings of balmy chords and emotional meanderings of clacky bass is in short cutting edge.

Guy J finishes up with ”Once In A Blue Moon”, which by far meets every standard of a timeless classic. It gob smacks with it’s pulsing, throbbing inner core. The speakers get a nice bit of initial low bass jarring, a haunting chord stretches and tinny bubbles melt within all at once, but don’t get fooled, the best is yet to come. The challenge is thrown at 3. 09 seconds of the tune, when the melody line takes center stage oozing oomph, seducing you to meet the warm folds of shimmering Bass and I’d like to see anyone resist the digital yearning this spectacular stunner produces. There’s a choking break down when the melodic pad continues it’s hypnotics, from there on its a surreal number one can slow burn to. If I could be music, I’d like to take this one’s form. Bravo!
