We are super excited to host another talented artist from Istanbul who is very much loved by the UTA team… please welcome, ALICAN!

Alican Yuksel from Istanbul, got into the electronic dance in 2000, producing drum & bass and breaks tunes.

In 2003 Alican had a chance to meet Murat Uncuoglu probably Turkey’s strongest dj and producer. He gave Murat some of his music, he thoroughly enjoyed it, citing him as among some of the strongest new talents around the Turkish electronica scene, and eventually they got to work together in the studio, helping him hone in and develop his sound.

With Murat, they have set up a label and events company ‘Isolate’ which features their own tracks, tracks from the hottest artists in Turkey and around the globe, and tracks by respectable artists in the dance scene.

On another note, Alican has been hosting a weekly show on the largest and pioneering Turkish radio station, Future Generation, also known as FG 93.7.

Alican’s works has been featured on labels like Isolate, Kompakt, Gigolo, Connected, Multinotes, Get Physical, Engrave LTD and many more.
