Time for another huge discovery by the dedicated team of underground boogie hunters here at OFF, we now bring you the mysterious Simion, a man who made an impact by recently remixing Ben Pearce’s hit “What I Might Do” with great chart success and who sent us an impressive pair of dancefloor agitators which we just couldnt resist!
It all begins with “Lost”, and its all about the groove in this one, the percussive heavy drum rhythm builds up hypnotically with a massive funk bass and string stabs that do the work… This is one of those tracks that takes the party to a completely superior level of happiness.
On the flipside, Simion gets his 909 swing pants on and delivers what could only be described as a future house anthem, “Dont U” has a killer bass and diva vocals topped by a house piano lick making it absolutely irresistible.
The thing doesnt stop there, we bring our wonder boy Chi Thanh to rework it and he incoporates his organic vibe to the vocals, bringing on guitars and a new bubbly bassline to turn the track into a completely different version.
