Ran Salman feat Damon Trueitt – Dirty Love EP [Springbok Records]

by May 8, 2014

Ran Salman takes us back to 70’s disco – this EP is all about 70s Disco / Funk, caught in the mood for Disco Ran produced a great EP very different from most of his productions that are more toward the deep house genre, this EP is a collaboration with an american vocalist named Damon Trueitt, Damon’s voice is the one responsible for Somore’s hit – I Refuse (What You Want) that was released in 1997 and being played until this day by every DJ on the planet from Soul Clap to Phil Weeks and more.

Damon and Ran bringing us the pure disco vibe in ‘Dirty Love’ – an addictive track  that sound so right and always gives you the mood.

Another track is ‘Black Cadillac’ – Also a great funky track with cool vocals and groove that reminds us the disco side of Daft Punk.

The third track named ‘Rise’ is more towards the  ‘Ambient’ genre – Damon’s dreamy vocals over some layered pads and muted guitar, great track to chill to.

The EP is also includes two massive remixes by Springbok’s boss Stephane Deschezeaux and The Family’s Jam.

Overall a great EP, you can buy it from iTunes directly at 3.99$ – A funny price for a 5 track EP  http://bit.ly/RkIxSH

Or grab the EP from Beatport for 9.95$  http://btprt.dj/1q6y9Of
