The third reference of 2021 on Eklektisch comes from Italian producer Tayga. For this occasion we knew we could count on a powerful remix by Canarian producer Alex Medina.

Tayga approaches “Bad Dreams” in a different way than he normally does in his productions. Trying to emulate a real instrumental bass sound with his Minitaur synthesizer, aiming to improve this with a sub-bass. After one week of tests he found the path, with a 1/32 sub37 arp. “Bad Dreams”, exactly what he had made during that week, trying to find something that fit perfectly.

The second track of the ep titled “Galactic Shimmer”, for the little time it took in making it. Tayga calls is “One day in the studio track”.
Starting with the general mood with percs & a “nord lead” melody combined with a huge reverberation thanks to his little, light blue friend “big sky”. Mixing these two elements he had the chance to create a bunch of effects that give expectations for the main drop.

Alex Medina had the pleasure to remix Tayga. He loved that main melody and from there he went on to visit a new planet full of breaks, twisted psychedelic melodies, martian pads & futuristic.
