Premiere: Fatoumata – Zone [Earthly Delights]

Fatoumata is back with “Zone” EP that has been fresh in the making
and dancefloor tested. 3 original works, presented by the Parisian duo, fit perfectly with the
aesthetics and direction of the label, musical, rhythmic and mysterious sounds full of soulful vibes
and trippy setting. After spending many long months working intensively in the studio, this EP is a combination of
many influences. Zone is a mix of a strong rhythmics with a melodic lead, grooves, and
atmospheres. Most of the recording of Fatoumata new’s EP are made with the Yamaha DX7 with
a particular grain making the sound float, bringing a different color to their productions.
As the guys say; “This EP is quite intense and different, we worked a lot on this one, mixing every
influence from Afro Disco to Deep and dark electronic music with even a touch of Goa. That’s why
we love this 3 tracks. It’s an EP more personal, and with a new atmosphere for us… more
electronic but with a certain warmth…”
