Walker (Aust) – Chase Bowser [Hype Muzik]

Releasing later in January on Hype Muzik ”Chase Bowzer” by Walker (Aust) is a winner. The label heads to Australia and invites the Gold Coast musician to give us a debut, that counts. The Original mix is an excursion in to late night boogie down fun. It’s perfectly pitched and replete with languorous grooves that paint a perfect dancing picture. The vocals, risque Housey and nice. It also carries a cool tension in the melodic tambourine center and bushy bass line, that can make you hover over the ground. That one track which tells you to stand up and just dance.
Then along comes Colombian Deejay Will.i. on the B side, with a remix that combines stylistic elements in its core with plenty of renewed space, even though it sticks to the original cut, yet has a an open up feel. One also gets a clear ultra tight bass line and wiggling exterior. The vocals withstand chunkiness and incredibly deft narcotic disco backing to work over, the bubbly synths and extended instrumentals. This one’s cosmically good and very few can resist, me thinks.
