This brand new spanking release on Convert is an absolute winner for me. Releasing on 14-07-2014. The pack contains remixes from Halo Bega and In Progress…and from the word go, there’s so much beautuousness in the entire spectrum of the pack, that it leaves me breathless and more than that to get grooving with. Lee Softly is an out and out giant of a Dj/Producer of the dance music scene for as long as I can remember. He collaborates with Ian Ossia the huge ”Renaissance” outfit favorite to drive the album with many naughty FX and creative edits and an awesome Dj mix. The Physical CD is a special limited edition.

Diving straight in to the heavy thuds of ”Save Me”, Blue Amazon Vocal Mix with it’s acidic bursts and melodic synth is an out of control tune. Full of jumbling, chiming bass goodness and a break beatish core is reminescent of the super clubbing days of genuine Progressive House ruling the roost. ”And Then The Rain Falls”- by BA induces an HaloBega & Alex Aguilar Remix subdued gem. With the vocals and gushing bassy low end, it’s more contemporary and has an appealing face for it’s listeners. On to ”No Other Love”- In Progress Remix with other remix duties from Argentinian wonder Hernan Cattaneo & Martin Garcia, remains for me another lovely piece of work. This one’s got a fluid quality to it’s texture. There’s an easy going vibe, bass filled interior and driving groove surely, more underground fodder.

”Don’t Be Afraid”- Blue Amazon Tech Mix gets right down and dirty with it’s gritty edges, Vocal peek a boo. The winding bass pattern and careening synth is wonderful, altogether with subtle stabs of the melody pads. Finish it up with ”Live Your Life”- Blue Amazon Tech Housing Mix, reminds me of the versatility of his production sense. His handiwork on this tune is heavier bass notwithstanding the melodic line which gets pulsier. It’s doused in with a splintering House palette cascading in to a relentless wobbly mess of bubbles, warbles and a much needed break down. Lay this down nice and thick at peak time for some dance carnage.
The entire pack is stylish and a must have for your music bag!! 🙂
