Anthony Yarranton made his debut appearance on Crossfade Sounds in September of 2013. The UK producer contributed The Lounge to the labels first ever exclusives compilation entitled Crossing Borders. The track was undoubtedly one of the collection’s freshest sounding productions. It’s drummy groove, unique vocal stabs and tasteful pianos were highly memorable and still rank as one of Anthony’s all time best studio works.

The 29th release on Crossfade Sounds now features The Lounge getting it’s official single release along with brand new interpretations from Peter Makto & Gregory S and Float.

Peter Makto & Gregory S hail from Hungary and have been frequent studio partners since 2011. The duos debut production was a masterful rework of Eelke Kleijn – Theme For Nosey which came courtesy of Paul Hazendonk’s fine Manual Music. Not only was it their debut production together but it forged a studio relationship that is still at its creative peak today. More recently Peter and Gregory had their Glass House production selected by storied UK DJ Nick Warren for his Beatport #1 album The Soundgarden. The duos remix of The Lounge marks their second appearance on Crossfade Sounds and once again they’ve delivered a very special composition. Peter and Gregory have exquisitely reworked the groove into a dynamic, contemporary slice of tech house. It’s punchy beats, soulful vocal hooks and vibrant rhythms lead to a main break where the piano themes are then unveiled. The tranquil interlude is not only cool and classy but it sets up an invigorating second half conclusion which is going to be dynomite on the dance floor.

The second and final interpretation is provided by Valdimir Mihajlovic aka Float who is returning to Crossfade Sounds for his fourth appearance. The Serbian producer has long been one of his country’s most unique talents. His brand of tripped out techno has found its way onto Spin Twist Records and Iono Music. For his The Lounge interpretation Float has reworked the composition into a haze of melodious psychedelia. Through a web of cutting edge electronics the re-imaged piano’s and glassy tones sound absolutely stunning. It’s a production that’s sure to capture the imagination of many adventurous DJs and it closes out one of the finest releases on Crossfade Sounds perfectly.

Two excellent new interpretations and the mighty Original mix included for good measure!
